The main principle of multipoint EFI is that the injection process of gasoline fuel is in the intake manifold. If the injector is installed on the intake pipe of each cylinder, gasoline can be injected into multiple cylinders, which forms multipoint injection. The cost of gasoline injection is not only lower, but also less carbon deposition.

The fuel pump sucks the fuel out of the fuel tank, filters out the impurities through the fuel filters and enters the low-pressure fuel chamber of the fuel injection pump. After increasing the fuel pressure, fuel will be transmitted to the fuel injector through the high-pressure fuel pipe. When the fuel pressure reaches a certain value, the fuel injector sprays the fuel into the combustion chamber in the form of mist to form mixed gas and burn. After working, the waste gas will be discharged into the atmosphere through the exhaust device.

The task of fuel supply system is to prepare a certain amount and concentration of combustible mixture according to the requirements of various working conditions of the fuel engine, supply it to the cylinder, and make it ignite, burn and expand to do work near the end of compression. Finally, the supply system should also discharge the combustion product - exhaust gas into the atmosphere.

The engine ECU sends fuel injection signals to the fuel injection nozzle according to the output signals of various sensors of the engine, ejects the fuel from the fuel injectors at a certain pressure, mixes it with the clean air obtained through the air filter in the intake manifold in a certain proportion according to the requirements of various working conditions of the engine, finally enters the cylinder, compresses, works and exhausts in the cylinder, to generate engine power.
